Chapter 12

“GET THE HELL UP AND GET DRESSED, WE ARE GOING TO THE ABORTION CLINIC NOW! NO DAUGHTER OF MINES WILL SIT IN THE FRONT ROW AT MY CHURCH AND HAVE A CHILD OUT OF WEDLOCK! JUST IMAGINE WHAT THE PEOPLE AT CHURCH WOULD SAY IF THE PATOR‘S DAUGHTER WOULD BE PREGNANT!”

“FUCK YOU AND THE PEOPLE AT CHURCH, I AM NOT A MURDERER! I AM NOT KILLING MY BABY! ARE YOU WORRYING ABOUT WHAT THE ‘CHURCH PEOPLE’ ARE THINKING WHEN YOU‘RE SLEEPING WITH HALF OF THEM?!”

“What did you just say?” Amberly was shocked at what came out of Janet’s mouth.

“YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT BEFORE YOU OPENED YOU LEGS LIKE SOME CHEAP HOE!” Vincent interrupted.

“VINCENT!!!” Kimberly Interrupted.

“Amberly, STAY OUT OF THIS! HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU TO STAY IN YOUR PLACE? GO CLEAN OR COOK!”

“MOM, DEFEND YOURSELF!”

Vincent put his attention back on Janet and began to walk towards her. Janet quickly rushed to her feet.

“I will tell you one more time…get dressed, this baby is getting aborted, or you are out of this house. All those nice things you have are mines! That pretty little Range Rover is mines! You better think long and hard about the decision you make.”

Janet stood her ground, she was not aborting her baby for no one.

“GET OUT!”

“NO! JANET IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE!” Amberly stood in front of Janet.

“Amberly! Move out of my way!”

“No!” Amberly shouted back.

“Move out of my way, or you can go with her!”

Vincent pushed Amberly out of the way to get to Janet, but Janet and Amberly fell to the floor.

“Mom! Are you okay?”

“Get your shit and get out!” Vincent yelled and went to Janet’s room and began to throw her things downstairs.

Janet ran to her room and grabbed her phone to call Rico.

"Rico, they know! My dad is kicking me out, what am I going to do?" Janet cried.

"Wait, Janet? What are you talking about? Calm down!"

"My mom walked in on me throwing up and talking to myself, and all hell is breaking loose!”

"I'll be there in a minute hold tight."

Ten minutes later Rico arrived to Janet’s house. As he approached the front door, he heard yelling and screaming.

“What the fuck! Aye you throw one more thing--,”

“You’re going to do what?” Rico and Vincent stood toe to toe, looking each other square in the eyes.

“I would hate to make your beautiful home a crime scene.”

Janet stood back in fear, she knew things could get ugly or was about to get ugly.

“Baby, calm down please, don’t do anything crazy, let’s just go.”

“Go in the car Janet.”

“But Rico-.”

“GO IN THE CAR!”

Janet didn’t argue with Rico, she ran to the car and watched from a distance.

“You think you’re tough huh, got you a little gun and caught you a few bodies? You still will never amount to a man like me.”

“Seems like you have a serious issue with me, Mr. Connor. So how about we settle it like two men.”

“Haha, you’re not worth it….wetback!”

Rico punched Vincent in the face; he dropped to the floor as Rico began to hit him again.
